No fuss, take the bus. Shuttle option gets visitors to the Arboretum quickly and easily. Transportation provided by SouthWest Transit leaves on the hour and half hour, 4:30-8:00 p.m. Saturday and Sunday evenings, plus Friday after Thanksgiving, except for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. Covered parking provided in the Chanhassesn Park & Ride ramp located next to the Chanhassen Dinner Theater. $15 ticket includes round-trip transport, curb-side service, fast-lane check in and entrance to the exhibit.

Redeeming tickets:

Guests will show their tickets to the gatehouse attendant and will proceed to the Guest Services desk in the Visitor Center to exchange their ticket for a wrist band.

Purchasing tickets online:

Save money by purchasing tickets online in advance. Guests may purchase tickets up until an hour before each show time. All sales are final. To reschedule dates, call 952-443-1400, a $5 per ticket fee applies. No refunds.

Purchasing tickets on-site:

You will be able to purchase tickets at our gatehouse, providing there is availability for the hour/evening exhibit. It is recommended that you purchase your tickets in advance, there is no guarantee of availability at the gate. Prices increase when purchased on-site.

Closing due to inclement weather:

If the MN Landscape Arboretum closes due to inclement weather, we will post available dates and times you can redeem your ticket within 48 hours. We will announce any closing on the Arboretum website (, TV and social media

Photography of the exhibition:

We encourage our guests to take photos and to post to our social media sites using the hashtag #munrowinterlightmn. Visitors are encouraged to take photographs of Bruce Munro’s installations and artwork, however any commercial use, reproduction or sale, directly or online, of any images is strictly prohibited and may expose violators to civil and criminal penalties. No license is granted, expressed or implied to make commercial use of any of Bruce Munro’s work. Admission to this exhibition is conditional upon acceptance of these restrictions.
